ABOUT US
Welcome!
The Riverbank Hockey Parents Association (RHPA) is a public, non-incorporated
organization of volunteer parents whose children are participants
in Riverbank State Park's (RBSP) Youth Ice Hockey programs. Founded
in March 2007, the RHPA assists and supports coaches and park personnel,
both on and off off the ice, in the operation and development of
the Riverbank Youth Ice Hockey programs and ice hockey teams.
RHPA parents perform a wide variety of responsible roles and responsibilities.
Parents act as team parents/managers, volunteer hockey coaches,
coach assistants, game schedulers, event organizers, database administrators,
webmasters, online forum moderators, photographers, videographers,
chaperones, and car poolers. Parents collect and manage player data,
design and produce program literature, manage pre-registration and
assist in the registration process, act as community liaisons for
outreach, help with equipment fitting and inventory, monitor and
report on ice hockey program progress and issues, write proposals
for program support and provides support wherever needed.
If you are new to the RHPA and wish to make a contribution, find
an activity or create one that suits yours talents and abilities,
please speak with the team parent/manager of your child's program
or team for team level and program-wide activities.
