The sessions focus on skill enhancement in skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, positioning, and team play and the development of power, speed, quickness and agility. Coaches will use full ice and cross-ice drill and scrimmage sessions to develop conditioning, power skating techniques, turning, puck handling, passing, shooting and positioning. Midgets also participate in travel games to New Jersey, Long Island, and Westchester versus teams at the same or higher level from other hockey programs.
